(n.d.); 30 negatives of views of Fifth Avenue, Mid-Town Manhattan, New York City, N.Y. taken from the roof of the New York Public Library building between 40th and 42nd Streets and Fifth Avenue (n.d.). Additional print materials include two schematics: Preliminary Vault Reconnaissance and photo reference guide for views taken along 16th Street (1979)

Biographical or historical data
Thorney Lieberman was the principle photographer for the architectural firm of I.M. Pei and Partners (1971-1991). He is a graduate or Bard College, Annandale-on-Hudson, N.Y. (BA) and taught photography at the Parsons School of Design in New York for three years. Lieberman has photographed architectural works by Richard Meier, Philip Johnson, and for the New York Landmarks Conservancy and Committee to Save Grand Central. A book of his photographs of New York City entitled Manhattan Lightscape was published in 1990. Lieberman's photographs have been featured in the Museum of Modern Art, New York City, N.Y., the Brooklyn Museum, N.Y., the Dallas Museum of Art, Tex., and the Bibliotheque Nationale, Paris, France. in 2009, he was honored by the West Virginia Division of Culture and History in an exhibit entitled: "Thorney Lieberman: Honoring America's Coal Miners" and by the Huntington Museum of Art as part of their Walter Gropius Master Artist series (2008).
